Omron EE-SX672 Slot-Type Photomicrosensor for Embroidery Machines

The Omron EE-SX672 is a slot-type photomicrosensor used for position detection in industrial machinery, including embroidery machines. An infrared beam crosses a 5 mm slot, and when a metal flag or vane passes through it, the sensor switches its output to tell the machine controller that a set position has been reached. Key specifications: 5 mm slot width, through-beam sensing, NPN open-collector output, 5–24 V DC supply, selectable light-ON or dark-ON operation, connector-type terminals, and an operating range of −25 to 55 °C. The second code printed on the body is a production lot code and does not need to match your old sensor. A failed or dirty position sensor can cause origin errors, wrong needle or color selection, or a machine that stops with a sensor alarm.
