Maintenance Schedule

Oil the rotary hook daily if the machine runs full shifts. Clean lint from the hook race and bobbin area every few hours of continuous stitching. Check needle condition every design change. Beyond that, a proper service every 2–3 million stitches — checking timing, belts and the main board — is what separates a machine that lasts 15 years from one that needs early part replacement.

Installation Checklist

A proper installation covers uncrating and levelling the machine, electrical setup matched to local power supply, software and design-transfer configuration, a full test run across several designs, and hands-on operator training. Skipping the training step is the most common reason new owners call back within the first week.

Is an Annual Maintenance Contract Worth It?

For a machine running daily production, yes — scheduled servicing catches worn hooks, belts and timing drift before they cause a mid-order breakdown, which costs far more in missed deadlines than the contract itself. For a lightly used machine, on-call service as issues arise is usually more cost-effective.

Warranty in Pakistan

New machines typically carry a manufacturer or dealer warranty covering the main motor and electronics for a set period, with wear parts (needles, hooks) excluded as consumables. Used machines are usually sold with a shorter service warranty from the seller rather than the manufacturer — always get terms in writing before paying.
